About our Mental Health Training

Edu-c8 inspired training have courses for all levels or learning in the workplace. Our Mental Health First Aid Instructors are registered by MHFA England to deliver Mental Health First Aid (England) training courses. The courses are accredited and internationally recognised. Our Mental Health First Aid Instructors can teach three MHFA courses including Adult Mental Health First Aid which is a two day course. We have also designed our own one day and half day courses to support mental health in the workplace, recognising organisations existing approach to staff wellbeing and to give employers the opportunity to recognise and address the key issues and impact of mental ill health in the workplace.

In House Group Training

We offer a wide range of courses aimed at groups up to 16 people, courses range from half day (3hrs), full day (6hrs) and two day courses. Two half day courses can be combined to run as a full day if required.

We are flexible and can provide training at weekends and evening to suit customer’s needs. 

Bespoke Courses

Designing bespoke training tailored to you is at the centre of our business.

We will listen to you and get to the heart of what’s happening in your business, having agreed the priority areas to be tackled with you, we’ll design a training programme to address them.

Open Courses

As requested by our clients. We now offer a range of open courses. This can be cost effective with specialists and managerial training.

Mental Health First Aid England courses

Mental Health First Aider

Adult MHFA Two Day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider.

This two day course has been developed MHFA England. It provides the skills, knowledge and understanding of first aid for mental health and how to effectively support those experiencing distress.
This empowers both individuals and communities to understand the signs and symptoms of mental health issues and how best to support themselves and those around them in recovery. It will help reduce stigma and discrimination around mental health.

MHFA Champion

Adult MHFA One Day course qualifies you as a MHFA Champion.

Developed by MHFA England, this one-day course is ideal for line manager and anyone with people management responsibilities.

Learners will gain an understanding of common mental health issues; knowledge to promote mental health awareness at work.

The course will also give learners the ability to spot signs of mental ill health and the skills to support positive wellbeing.

Mental Health Aware

Adult MHFA Half Day course qualifies you as Mental Health Aware.

This half day course is an introductory four-hour session to raise awareness of mental health. Developed by MHFA England the course gives learners a basic knowledge of common mental health issues, in addition it teaches them how to look after their own mental health and wellbeing.  Learners will gain an understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma.

The Supporting mental health in the workplace course has been developed for directors, managers and supervisors to raise awareness of a variety of mental health conditions.

The course explores legislation associated to mental ill health and give learners an understanding of how to promote good mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace

The Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace course has been developed for all employees to raise awareness of a variety mental health conditions and help learners to reduce stigma and discrimination associated with mental health issues within the workplace.

Learners to recognise early signs of mental ill health and give learners an understanding of how to promote good mental health and wellbeing in the workplace
